Damage Model Determination for Predicting Creep Rupture Time of 2 1/4Cr–1Mo Steel Weld Joints

In a creep damage analysis for weld joint (WJ) using model, it is important to select model that properly reflects complex conditions of stress generated in the interface between base metal and heat-affected zone (HAZ). For 2 1/4Cr–1Mo steel, we examined what type scalar appropriate around HAZ accurately predicting rupture time, framework time exhaustion rule, which evaluates as function stress. specimen round rod WJ through an penetrates obliquely, compared actual tests finite element method (FEM) analysis, temperature-stress ranges from 120 160 MPa at 823 K, 80 100 873 K. Analyses distribution inside outside BM-HAZ indicated that, tensile also when evaluate damage.
